Privacy and cookies notice
Your data, clear and on your terms.
Last updated: July 1, 2026. Applies to elsoundsystem.com and its subdomains (including skills.elsoundsystem.com).
Who is responsible
Nicolás Borja (El Sound System), Mexico City. Contact for anything data related: hola@nicoborja.com.
What data we process
What you give us. Your email when you type it into a form (Sound Check, waitlist, skills kit download). For updates we use double opt-in: we only write to you if you confirm from your inbox.
Usage data. With your consent, analytics metrics (which sections get seen, which buttons get used). Without consent, only aggregate, anonymous measurement that uses no cookies.
Cookies and local storage
| What | Type | When |
|---|---|---|
| Theme preference and your cookie decision (localStorage: sound-analytics-consent) | Essential, never leaves your browser | Always |
| Google Analytics 4 via Google Tag Manager (cookies _ga, _ga_*) | Analytics | Only if you accept in the banner |
| Vercel Web Analytics | Aggregate analytics, no cookies, does not identify you | Always |
The site boots with all analytics storage denied (Consent Mode v2). Accepting in the banner enables only analytics_storage; we use no advertising cookies.
